The Relief lacquer accent in the Screen printing is an exclusive finishing technique that uses UV-curing high-volume lacquer to emphasise individual design elements visually and haptically. The heavily applied layer of lacquer creates a three-dimensional effectwhich shines and is noticeably raised - ideal for finishing logos, lettering or graphic accents.

In contrast to classic lacquer finishes, the relief lacquer is significantly thicker and therefore ensures a particularly high-quality appearance. The reverse side of the material remains unchanged - there is no embossing in the classic sense, but rather an elegant raised lacquer on the surface.

This technique is ideal for Smooth cardboard materials with a high grammage and is often used in combination with other effects such as Foil embossing, Soft-touch lamination or Spot varnishing to create a multi-sensory brand experience.
