State-of-the-art technology
Our air-conditioned new building is equipped with high-end machines - from offset printing to laminating machines. Safety is a high priority (ISO 45001). You will gain an insight into CAD, finishing and machine skills.
What you learn with us
Apprentices at Hertel don't just run machines - they also learn how to programme, set up, maintain and, if necessary, repair them.
Particularly exciting: packaging technologists select suitable materials and plan finishes - a mix of technology and creativity.
Prerequisites
Practical skills, technical understanding and spatial thinking are required. Communication skills also count - especially if you will be leading teams later on.
The requirements depend on the profession: for example, a secondary school leaving certificate is sufficient for machine and plant operators, while an intermediate school leaving certificate is recommended for packaging technologists.
